Join the juice of life’s journey, travelling with the water cycle to explore the natural beauty of planet earth. This short documentary film first dives into the water cycle, before the peril of nutrient pollution causing eutrophication and resulting water quality issues, for instance Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs), are investigated. Last but not least, in-situ, remote sensing and citizen science based monitoring procedures as well as adaptation and mitigation measures are presented. Lake Chivero, the main water reservoir for the Harare metropolitan area in Zimbabwe, is used as case study area. This documentary film was created as contribution to the University of Twente's Science Communication Club.
