The data were collected via an online questionnaire and include responses from approximately 400 police employees working in different organizational units and roles. Constructs were measured using multi-item Likert scales. Variables cover individual perceptions of control practices, motivational outcomes, task characteristics, and basic demographic controls. The dataset is anonymized and contains no directly identifiable personal information. The dataset is intended for research on management control systems, public sector management and work motivation. It can be used for replication, secondary analysis, and comparative research on control and motivation in professional public-sector contexts.
