Wat erin zit
Drenthe is rijk aan zogenaamde Celtic fields. Dit zijn raatvormige omwalde akkercomplexen uit de IJzertijd (ca. 600 v. Chr. - 2de eeuw n. Chr.) Ze zijn door de hele provincie te vinden maar laten zich niet altijd makkelijk opsporen. Door archeologisch adviesbureau RAAP is een actueel kaartbeeld gemaakt van de voorraad Drentse Celtic fields. Hiervoor is de hele provincie door middel van een analyse van satellietbeelden en het Actueel Hoogtebestand Nederland versie 2 (AHN2) onder de loep genomen.
