This dataset provides estimates on the shared of burned areas in OECD Local Areas. Burned areas are identified using the Globfire Fire Perimeters dataset, derived from the MODIS MCD64A1 burned area data product. The data displays the share of area burned in the 5 years from the period 2019-2023. The data is organized at Territorial Level 2 (TL2). To visualize the data at Local Area level, click on the corresponding TL2 indicator.
