Data supporting the PhD thesis: Designing Challenge Based Research and Learning Curriculum for Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Research Competencies in Engineering and Science Education: A Constructivist Educational Design Research

Wat erin zit
This dataset was collected as part of a doctoral research project on Challenge-Based Research and Learning (CBRL) curriculum design in engineering and science education, conducted within the ICR&TIST minor at the University of Twente. The study follows a constructivist Educational Design Research (EDR) approach, examining how interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research competencies develop through curriculum interventions, including micromodules MM0 and MM6. Method Data were collected through standard minor coursework (student Personal Development Reports and in-session workshop reports) and semi-structured interviews with teaching staff. All materials were anonymised by replacing real names with consistent role-based codes (students, facilitators, guest lecturers, and the external partner organisation) and removing other identifying details. Participants provided informed consent for their anonymised data to be archived and published.
