Ammonia in the air in 2025: highest concentrations in the Gelderse Vallei and the Peel, lowest along the coast

The modelled annual mean ammonia for 2025 in one-kilometre squares, from RIVM's map service. The darkest blue (30 micrograms per cubic metre or more) is in the Gelderse Vallei around Barneveld and in the Peel in eastern North Brabant and northern Limburg: areas with a lot of livestock farming. Queried at a point near Barneveld, the service returns 36.3 micrograms per cubic metre. Along the coast, in North Holland and around the IJsselmeer it is lightest (below 5).
