Data supporting the publication: Ethical Challenges in Climate-Health Research in the Eastern Mediterranean Region

This dataset originates from a mixed-methods Delphi study conducted to identify and prioritize ethical challenges in climate–health research in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR). The research objective was to generate region-specific evidence to inform ethical frameworks, data governance, and policy development for climate–health research in climate-vulnerable and humanitarian settings. The study employed a two-round Delphi design, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches: Round 1 used an online open-ended questionnaire to explore expert perspectives, which were analyzed using inductive thematic analysis, while Round 2 utilized a structured questionnaire with Likert-scale items to quantify and prioritize identified themes. Data were collected from multidisciplinary experts across multiple EMR countries, representing public health, climate science, ethics, and policy sectors. The dataset includes qualitative textual responses, coded themes, and quantitative variables such as ratings of importance, urgency, and agreement, along with derived composite priority scores and participant demographic characteristics
