This dataset supports the article “Tailoring the fatigue response of flax FRP composites by exploiting micro-structural re-arrangements and auxiliary loading sequences” . It contains experimental fatigue data from 50 flax fibre-reinforced polymer (FFRP) and glass fibre-reinforced polymer (GFRP) specimens, investigating the effects of fibre architecture and complex loading histories on fatigue behaviour. The experiments include continuous fatigue, pre-straining, pre-creeping, recovery and interrupted fatigue tests. The dataset provides cyclic stress–strain measurements, force, displacement and specimen-level metadata, enabling analysis of stiffness evolution, strain accumulation and fatigue performance. Data are provided in CSV format, accompanied by a README and data dictionary to facilitate reuse and further analysis.
