Data and code supporting the publication: Group fairness in power systems computation: Evaluating disparities in grid capacity between households with and without rooftop solar

Wat erin zit
This dataset consists of household electricity measurements originally collected in the GridFlex Heeten project and subsequently processed for the purpose of analysing group fairness impacts of grid capacity limiting policies by a grid operator. It contains 15‑minute interval data for the full year 2019 from 55 households in the Netherlands, of which 26 do not have rooftop solar PV and 29 do. The dataset provides net household electricity consumption and solar generation data, enabling simulation of operator interventions such as curtailment and demand response. The research objective is to assess whether grid capacity limiting measures by the grid operator affect households with and without solar differently. This is analyzed using Demographic Parity, a group fairness metric, to quantify disparities in access to grid capacity and associated costs in various scenarios.
