Data and code underlying the master thesis: Relieving Grid Congestion through Coordinated Energy Hub Flexibility: An Agent-Based Modelling Study on Energy Hub Design

What's in it
This dataset contains the reproducibility package for the MSc thesis on coordinated battery flexibility in large consumer Energy Hubs. The package includes the processed input data, survey-derived behavioural parameters, Python model files, scenario settings, simulation outputs, and documentation required to reproduce the agent-based modelling experiments. The model extends the agent-based model developed by Doerdjan (2025) for congestion management in Energy Hubs. The model and agent files are derived from and adapted from the previous model, while the empirical input data, processed demand profiles, survey-derived parameters, battery configurations, scenario settings, and simulation outputs were created for the current research. The package supports analysis of how coordinated battery flexibility, capacity allocation mechanisms, pricing mechanisms, load-shedding strategies, and behavioural agent compositions influence grid congestion and Energy Hub performance. The included README file explains the folder structure, file contents, dependencies, and basic steps for reproducing the simulations.
