Data underlying Chapter 5 of the PhD thesis: Organic acids and bipolar membrane electrodialysis for enhanced ammonia recovery from scrubber effluents.

What's in it
This chapter demonstrates the recovery of dissolved ammonia from real scrubber effluent at pilot scale using bipolar membrane electrodialysis (BPMED) and investigates the transport phenomena limiting ammonia recovery under high-current-density operation. The pilot-scale BP-C configuration was operated in sequential batch mode to recover dissolved NH₃ and regenerate citric acid. The underlying data comprise electrical measurements; pH, electrical conductivity, temperature, and pressure measurements; ammonium concentration analyses; and assessments of osmotic and electro-osmotic water transport. The data is used in the evaluation of ammonia recovery performance and the investigation of transport limitations under pilot-scale operating conditions.
