General Introduction This dataset contains the input and output data (figures, results datasets) supporting the publication: "Semantically-driven Interpretation of Stakeholder Requirements and Quantification of Impact to Layout Design". Parts of this publication have been reproduced in Chapter 4 of the dissertation: "Impact of decarbonization uncertainties on ship design: A design framework integrating layout modelling and decision making". This dataset aims to provide a benchmark for similar future research. Dataset purpose The purpose of this case study was to interpret verbal stakeholder statements, identify the ill-defined statements, and quantify their impact on the engine room size using length, connection costs, and connection length.
