MSc Thesis Dataset and Model: Extended Agent-Based Model for Congestion Management in Energy Hubs

Wat erin zit
This repository contains the dataset, model files, and supporting documentation developed for the MSc thesis on coordinated battery flexibility in large consumer Energy Hubs. The research extends the agent-based model developed by Doerdjan (2025) for congestion management in Energy Hubs by incorporating empirical demand profiles, survey-derived behavioural parameters, battery storage, capacity allocation mechanisms, and alternative load-shedding strategies. The model simulates how large consumers within an Energy Hub respond to congestion signals under different technical, behavioural, and organisational configurations. It is used to analyse the impact of coordinated battery flexibility on grid congestion, capacity utilisation, operational and economic performance, and behavioural responses at the agent level. The repository is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and further research on agent-based modelling, Energy Hubs, coordinated flexibility, and congestion management.
