Set of patterns as a finding of a phd, These patterns translates socio-spatial understandings of public space into actionable design and planning tools for strengthening community resilience. Developed through literature review, empirical fieldwork in Rotterdam, and expert validation, it consists of interconnected patterns addressing accessibility, safety, restorativeness, responsiveness, flexibility, liminality, narrativity, and empowerment. The pattern language supports communication, co-creation, and evaluation across disciplines while bridging resilience theory and public space practice.
