This dataset is a supplement to the PhD dissertation titled "Computational modeling of dynamic out-of-plane behaviors in unreinforced masonry buildings – A high-fidelity finite element implicit-based approach for the unit-by-unit simulation of seismic response under pre-damage caused by settlement and past earthquakes" by Amirhossein Ghezelbash and contains the: Literature data collected, digitized, and cross-compared during the reviews of Chapter 2 of the dissertation; Experimental benchmark data used for calibration, verification, and validation of the main modeling approach developed in the research and the one proposed in the Appendix of the dissertation; and Numerical simulation data produced through analyses via both the main modeling approach developed in the research and the one proposed in the Appendix of the dissertation. A README file is included in the dataset, providing additional information regarding its content and organization. The dataset is accompanied by the print version of the PhD dissertation, and an electronic version of it that has higher-quality figures.
