This dataset contains A-weighted sound pressure levels and ML-predicted presence of 11 sound event classes from 38 source-aware smart sound sensors deployed in Delft and Pijnacker, the Netherlands. The sensors have been deployed between May and October 2025. The dataset accompanies the paper “Urban sound monitoring beyond dB(A): Insights from a source-aware city-wide sensor deployment” and is the basis for the analysis of spatial and temporal sound patterns, sound source presence and intermittency. Survey responses are excluded from the public dataset. The dataset does not include any audio (audio was processed directly on the sensors).
