Data accompanying the PhD dissertation: Interface between concrete and Strain Hardening Cementitious Composites (SHCC)

Wat erin zit
This dataset contains experimental measurements underlying a doctoral investigation of the mechanical behaviour of interfaces between strain-hardening cementitious composite (SHCC) and conventional concrete, including their influence on fracture and crack-width control in hybrid structural members.Three experimental programmes are archived together because they form a connected investigation at bond and structural scales:1- Modified slant shear tests (MSSTs): Composite specimens tested at nominal interface inclinations of 0°, 30°, 60°, 75° and 90° to investigate responses under different combinations of normal and shear loading.2- Notched-beam tests: Hybrid beams tested after sealed curing or drying exposure (nominally 60% and 30% relative humidity) to investigate interface opening, shrinkage-induced pre-damage and subsequent mechanical response.3 - Flexural-beam tests: Reinforced concrete reference beams and hybrid SHCC–concrete beams tested under four-point bending to investigate composite action and crack-width control, with varying interface preparation and beam height. The experimental procedure, specimen geometry and analysis are described in Chapters 3 and 5 of the …
